Well, it looks like I was slightly wrong. It isn’t McCain, but Mitch “I’m a blithering idiot” McConnell that is going to organize those Republican spineless worms that will be attending this event. He claims the Republicans attending will be ‘on offense’. Yeah, right. I’ll believe that when I see it.

Reading the excerpts of the pitch made to the IOC, I was amazed that the IOC actually went through the motions of listening before saying “no, thanks anyway.” Holy cow. Are the Obamas really so self-centered that they thought that making the pitch about them was the way to go?

Only thing about this is, I had heard that Chicago actually did not want the Olympics there. The money that would have to be spent to prepare for the games to be held there might be outside their budget, so to speak. While I agree that it would be good from a “national pride” standpoint, I’m not sure that the financial strain it would put on the city and the State of Illinois would be worth it.

I wholeheartedly agree. The truly sickening thing is, this man has already pled guilty to the offense; his extradition is solely for sentencing!! He hasn’t done any time (other than the 42 days he was in jail while working out his plea agreement), and he fled the jurisdiction to keep from having to go back to jail. He HASN’T paid his debt to society, and he needs to do that.

All true! Here is another similarity: Both Ahmadinijad and Obama agree on supporting a corrupt, treasonous president in Honduras. There military and congress took steps to preserve their country and rule of law, but Obama says they were wrong to do so!!! Comfortably siding with Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez – two of Ahmadinijad’s buddies…

I like that last bit – ‘Sit Down. You are no longer our Senator.’ Maybe some of the protestors can carry signs with the appropriate senator’s photo on it (with the red circle/line drawn through it over the photo) and those exact words……

They only recently became a PAC. Prior to that, Matt Damon donated $1 million dollars, Stephen Bing $4 million and George Soros $10 million in seed money to the organization.

Btw, Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins only donated $250 each during that timeframe.
